Stripe V2 Integration Supports Native Tokenization and 3D Secure Payments

With our latest release of our Stripe integration, we are introducing our v2 that provides Stripe native tokenization along with support for 3D secure on the first payment capture.


To activate the new tokenization and 3D Secure capabilites, you will need to activate a Stripe V2 Payment method.  This can be enabled by clicking on Payment Processors under the company menu.  Then click on Register a Payment Processor.

Click on Stripe (v2) as your payment processor, then enter both the Live Publishable Key and Live Secret Key.  You can leave the default options, unless you aren't accepting a specific card type.

Once activated, you will notice the payment field will reflect the Stripe tokenization input.  This will be prompted anywhere the user is asked to enter their payment method.

When their bank requires 3D Secure verification, the user will be prompted (in an open modal) to confirm with their bank.  This is an example of what the pop up will look like, but with their bank's confirmation prompt.

If they authenticate with their bank successfully, we will then save the token for future processing.  Please note, that unless we are charging them at the time of capture (during checkout), there is the possibility that the card may not have sufficient funds or be invalid by the time you charge.

Now that the card is saved, you and the member can leverage it during checkout.
